Dukinfield Town is a beautiful town on the edge of the most stunning scenery around.
It truly is the gateway to the Pennines where you can look out and see the beautiful rolling hills on the horizon.
The people of Dukinfield are proud of their past but now stand in the shadow of Ashton stripped of its railway station, shopping district and main industries.
Dukinfield has a glorious past, but it has an even brighter future.
This is YOUR home, Dukinfield, from settlement, to village, to town.
What will history show of the future Dukinfield Town we are building now?
We are a town in our own right,
we have our pubs, we have our shops,
we have our churches and we have our communities.
We need, as a town, to move forward in 2016 to re-establishing our identity as Dukinfield Town. A town of which the de Dokenfelt family would be proud to have given their name to.
Let's work to put the Town back in Dukinfield today.
